The Sims 2 and 3 Want Sound Effect Replacements - v1a
Added 2023-02-17 22:05:56 +0000 UTCHere's a mod that replaces the sound effect when completing a want in The Sims 4 to use the ones from either The Sims 2 or The Sims 3.
You can only pick one want sound effect replacement though, so you can't have both at the same time.
To install, simply drag it to your mods folder and make sure mods are enabled.

Made with TS3 and TS4 Sound Tool! I extracted the Sims 3 Want Sound Effect from the game files myself, but the Sims 2 Want Sound Effect came from this video. Huge thanks to Suomynona for ripping the TS2 one and posting it in a sound effect compilation!

I'd suggest adding in the video a snipped of the Sims 4 sound effect as well for easy comparison. Same for the menu sound effect one. Personally, I'm coming back to the Sims after not having played for years and am modding it up before I jump in so I can't remember what the sounds are like x.x and YouTube isn't being helpful Dx
