TKES Chapter 3.13 Finished + Question

Side note: I'll probably work on elania/new story for a day or two and would like to ask you to let your voices be heard in the meantime as I have a question for you.
Q: Do you feel like we need a time skip in TKES to skip the uneventful days of training/building and get to a bit more action and actual exploring?

Sometimes skips are necessary. Personally I vote for NO skip as I don’t like „hard edges“ in stories (exceptions exists though)

I don't know how many days they will be, and I don't quite think it will be slice of life as it severely limits my audience. I kind of need that broader audience in order to support myself.

2022-03-16 18:52:12 +0000 UTCI can understand them in the new story cause the plant start dan be a bit tedious and slow paced for growt but i hope time skip will be kept at a minimum for it too ♡ , my opinion dont really matter they are ur story, but that atleast how as a reader i feel personally and also why i think ur story beautifull cause its not just action its slow pace and we can feel linked to the character like in their life....we can only love them as they grow with us ♡and the slice of life aspect is like.....l so much warmer to read more alive and having a wriying so alive is honestly beautifull

2022-03-16 11:20:09 +0000 UTCSame as a reader the slice of life is so much freaking better then action, time skip.. make me lose interest in a story... i wanna see the character grow not just in power but in emotion.... in moral... i want them to be life like and any chapter with her sister make me cry cause its so freaking precious, time skip i feel would hurt the story as a whole be it consistency but also take away the charater their interaction.... wich is what make this story incredible the lack of time skip like in elania. That my personal opinion but i can more submerge myself in both the story and character place if i can see them grow.... fighting is meaningless..... in my opinion compared to the slice of life aspect

2022-03-16 11:19:46 +0000 UTCI'm not sure maybe some smaller time skips but I do like the slice of life and fluffy bits. Maybe skip the dungeon crawl forward till when they reach past the ents or go to the other dungeons. Maybe drop in on her sister's magic lessons with Calista and them looking for advise on her curse for the slower-paced bits. Could have Cal learn how to use a spear while mounted so she doesn't feel so useless.
