Headshots and Progress Report

I'll be making another post later on with the other full resolution renders, but I wanted to make a public Progress Report.
Unfortunately, I was not able to get as much work done as I had hoped to the past week, between a water leak in my basement mid-week and renders just taking longer than I expected them to. Also, when I first planned on taking a break from Jessica's comic for a week, I did not realize that the first weekend of April was Easter Weekend, so that has messed up my planned work schedule even more.
The good news is that because of my experiments with Vector graphics and getting the info cards made, I've made a good amount of progress with UI design. Something that I had not originally planned to focus on this week, but progress is progress.
The bad news is that it took up much more of my time than I had anticipated. With Easter being this weekend, even though we are skipping the big dinner this year with extended family, getting the comic out in time for Monday would require too much time locked away in my office working while the rest of the household is celebrating Easter.
So going forward I think I might just take a second weeks break from the comic, and try to ride the momentum I've made with the UI. I can set up renders to run when I'm away from the computer, and I'll have at least a preview of the next part of the comic for patrons on Monday. I'll also try and get some screenshots to share of the ingame UI once I get it into Ren'Py.
