2020-07-28 10:03:38 +0000 UTCBack in my youth, I learned swimming at the local YMCA. I could swim but this was training in the different strokes and techniques. We had levels of achievements ranging from Guppy to....Shark which was the highest level you could reach. I reached that level at age 10. Later I took and passed the Red Cross Lifesaver Test becoming a certified life guard. Those skills later saved my life when I was caught in a riptide. Swept about 3 miles off shore at Ocean City MD. I was rescued by the Coast Guard. Six others caught did not survive. I don’t doubt Erika’s skills...she’s a Shark!!
