2019-11-27 22:45:24 +0000 UTCLelouch made his main goal (at least one of them) extremely clear in the very first episode already "I will destroy Britannia" and the other one he made clear in the episodes you just watched, to create a world in which Nunnally can live a free and happy live in. He also kind of already explained where that hatred comes from, his mother was murdered and his sister was turned into a cripple ( you can see her in the flashback lying beneath her gunned down mother) and the two siblings were used as political tools and abandoned. So his actions are definitely emotionally driven, what drives him are basically the desire for vengeance and the desire to protect his sister and he definitely doesn't do it just to have some fun or something like that. Well everything more goes into spoiler territory. Though one thing that I can probably say without really spoiling anything, Lelouch isn't the "good guy" and personally he doesn't think he is, if anything he is the necessary evil.
