LOVE YOU FOR THIS REVIEW (among many other reasons)! Adam West would never stand for this bat-god garbage. Two things. One, to find out Batman's identity, Superman only peeked under his cowl. Smirking Bat-Creeper sat there watching Superman change and get ready for bed in the privacy of Clark's own home..... ya nasty, Bruce! I have a Batman-Superman-Wonder Woman trio poster hanging in my room and I am SO glad Superman is the one in the middle facing forward. I'm more comfortable at the thought of undressing in front of the X-Ray vision guy than I am in front of Mr. Playboy "Act". Two, I love that little bow Superman gives Batman after Superman smashes the wall. It's clearly a, "Ladies first," gesture. While Batman postures and gets all the smack talk, Superman basically called the Dark Knight a p*ssy without calling him a p*ssy. Love that working class-act farm boy!

For example, some might dislike Superman because he tries to be as good as he can possibly be, while favoring Batman for bending the rules to do what needs to be done. But the second Superman does something morally questionable like Batman might so that HE can get the job done, those same people are all over him for being "too dark".

2016-07-28 00:46:56 +0000 UTCFunny enough, I actually prefer the black-eyed Joker. That being said, it still doesn't hold a candle to his other incarnations. Also, I want to add that I never liked Lego Batman from the Lego Movie, though I do understand where you're coming from, especially after watching this review. After something like this, one can't help but to wish for someone to take him down a notch or two. My problem with Lego Batman, however, is that...I've personally found that he's basically Robin from the cartoon, Teen Titans Go, and I could never like him, either for the same reasons. But, with that said, I did notice that in my favorite DC Animated Movie, Crisis on Two Earths, Batman basically bashes his way into the third act of the movie and saves the day single-handidly. While I loved his scene with Owlman, I had this overall feeling that...he was just forced in. The rest of the movie is solely about the rest of the Justice League, but in the third act, Bats takes over? But, yeah, in the end, I just want to see a Batman story done right, as I was a HUGE fan of the DCAU. Hopefully they'll fix his Bat-God complex in Justice League Action. :)
