It should come with a huge series shaping caviat though. Like it help lead her down further to the path of villainy. Like what if the world knew the heros were the one that brought the evil that decimated so many back to life while it was soundly defeated at its weakest state.

2021-10-20 04:37:19 +0000 UTCif the movie really wanted to be a good sequel, it would have given an actual reason for why Maleficent is still hated by some people, instead of just being all hand-wavey about it. like maybe the reason could be some people still think she's a bad person becuase they haven't heard she's been reformed. this is a medieval setting, information probably doesn't travel that fast. or maybe Maleficent does something that's perceived as bad so people hate her again, and the movie would be about her trying to prove that she's truly reformed.

2021-10-17 20:48:29 +0000 UTCYou know my biggest issue with this movie? Maleficent's resurrection. When you, a magical creature, get killed by something specifically designed to kill magical creatures, that's it. You're dead. You don't get to use your powers to resurrect.
