Crag Cat and Winter Wolf
Added 2022-02-17 19:01:00 +0000 UTCThe crag cat is notable in being definitely a monstrosity that was mislabeled as a beast. The upshot is that you can wildshape/polymorph into a creature that can deflect any spell that it saves against, which is mad busted. I found I was stuck between taking away its spell turning and being unable to add any other cool stuff without making it definitively the best CR 1 beast, so I ended up just retyping it to Monstrosity so I could add more cool stuff to it.
The winter wolf is just a nice cold dog. He's got wolf stuff and cold stuff, along with a spooky howl that ices the earth and can paralyze you for a turn if you were already frightened.
