It's a walking mouth like a Xorn, but its mouth is connected straight to the void at the heart of the abyss, because in a very real way these guys are just feeding organs of the abyss itself.

What a great idea - a creature who's alimentary canal leads to another plane! As such the monster would likely always be hungry because it gets no nourishment, while the BBEG could use theses to amass resources from a safe distance. It's also a cool way for characters to travel between planes. I may use this creature, or steal the idea for another. Thanks!
