hobi’s birthday is the gift that keeps on giving! I’ve discovered new amazing songs by him, dope music videos and now he blessed us by sharing this sweet birthday phone call between him, Jimin and Jungkook.😭
I loved seeing Hobi LIGHT UP like the sun when he saw it was Jimin calling him and how happy he was the entire phone call. He truly deserves the best for his birthday and from what I’ve seen and heard, it seems like he had an amazing birthday.
I was also so happy to hear that both Jimin and Jungkook sound and act the same 😭it was so cute that Jk was right there with Jimin as he made the call to hobi, it’s reassurance that the boys are sticking together and taking care of one another while they finish serving in the military.
Hearing the phone call made the boys comeback feel SO much more real 😭 I don’t know whether to cry, smile or panic until they get back, IM STRESSED

South Korea adds a year to a person's age on January 1, regardless of their actual birth date so he's right,he will be 30 next year lol 💀 (I'm shocked too) In 2023, South Korea changed its age-counting system to the international standard and made Koreans one or two years younger. But, considering all the citizens have used the traditional system since literally when they were born, I guess it will take them a lot of time to get used to that change (I would personally love it and use it right away lol). HOWEVER, BTS goes crazy with the age counting anyways lmao. The members have been telling jin he's 30 since like2018 and last year in janury during his military service Bangtan TV posted a pre-recorded video of him wishing us a Happy New Year and he mentioned he'd be in his mid 30s when the video is out... he was 30 (31 korean age) when he recorded that and bro just turned 33 like 3 months ago lfao 😭 It's so funny bc a lot of "new" armys say things like "I’ve been an army for 5+ years and Jin has been 30 for almost all of them" 😂😂 With that Bangtan math the rapline is going to start saying they are close or in their 40s next year I fear, and Jungkook will continue saying all of them are grandpas as always but maybe this time including himself 😭

Now this is just me speaking of past experience with a group going into the military - dynamics change. And for the two groups I followed as a teen, dynamics changed so much in both groups because of a combination of the groups splitting up(and other small-ish scandals), the enlistment and a change in their music - that re-acclimating to them was hard… And yes I have that fear of change periodically with BTS, but their dynamic is so genuine and strong that every interaction they have with each other both on phone and face to face - even in how they talk about each other - is a reassurance that things will change yes, but their dynamics are very much still the same and their bond is still strong 💜 4-5 months left until all of our boys are home 💜😭🫂

JK's Korean Age is 29 from January 1st until December 31st, 2025. In international age he's 27 years old until August 30th and 28 years old after September 1st (his birthday)

Hobi told Tae that he would hang it up in his studio, and there it has stayed ever since. It always warms my heart when I see it. 💜

2025-02-19 13:15:25 +0000 UTCI hope no one takes this the wrong way because I really mean it as more of an interesting observation, but I feel like I've noticed a lot more newer armys have had this worry that the military would fundamentally change the boys or their personalities. Maybe some longterm armys felt that way too but I've seen less of that for sure. It's not really something I ever thought would happen as someone whose been following them a long time because I feel like I know them so well at this point (as parasocial as that sounds.) Maybe its because newer fans have had less time with them so there's a fear that you wouldn't really get to experience what they were like before they left? It's just interesting really. The only one I'm really worried about is Yoongi because of what he went through and of course they just need to free my boy Joonie before revolts lol

2025-02-19 07:42:53 +0000 UTCJimin has been really cautious during his military time this is the first time we heard his voice in 14 months he also hasn't posted anything other than letters on weverse so we haven't seen him either other than what other soldiers post. Jungkook has been really cautious too about updates and posts in comparison to RM V and Hobi in the military😭💜🥹. The stuff they are talking about wanting to share is probably just stories & funny moments as Hobi said he heard it already and it's hilarious😂🤷♂️💜. If they don't sing a duet of Goodbye Ill be upset 😂 I'm so glad they are both having a good & fun time together and with the other guys in their unit( I believe Jimin is the Unit Leader😁)It's like a fanmeeting with the amount of autographs being posted JK and Jimin also customise stuff for some soldiers like Guitars as they are both great at drawing. Hopefully this isn't the last time we here from them before discharge but I think it could be given how private they both have been( They might go to Hobis show in Seoul to support but idk🤷♂️💜)

Also Jungkook is using the Korean age system. Which is that they are already age 1 at birth and then age again on New Year’s Day. So in Korea Jungkook is already 29 this year and therefore would turn 30 next year. It’s confusing but you eventually get the hang of it 😂 I also can’t grasp the fact that Jungkook is apparently huge now, lord help us 😭💜
