I think she just made it for him because he doesn’t go home often and I’m sure he’s missed a few birthdays and his mom just wanted to make him something homey. I could be wrong, but it’s how I interpreted it. Like when I go home, my mom will make my favorite meals from my childhood.

2025-03-02 09:04:01 +0000 UTCaww this was one of the weverse lives i was hoping you'd watch. but this cute compilation works too! its one of my favorite lives. i adore these four together and its so funny! also you mentioned that the lives are long but there are actually a lot of short ones too. lives can range from 1 minute to 2 hours. lol. so you can start with the shorter ones if its easier. :)

I need a korean native to explain it to me or something. 🤣 like, I know it's traditional for mothers in korea to make seaweed soup on their child's birthday. but then JK said that his own mother made seaweed soup for JK... on Jimin's birthday? I know the busan boys' families are close but Jimin wasn't even there, so it makes zero sense to me. is it a mistranslation of the subtitles? is JK's mom just so extra motherly that it spills over to other members? the other boys (including Jimin) seemed to think it was weird though. I'm so confused, lol
