Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your mobile is also viable to watch one of them.
As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first frame of the episode, generally right after the opening credits finish on your own copy (unless of course, the show has a cold open), then pause it. Don't worry, I show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction! Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.
A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.

2025-04-09 02:14:09 +0000 UTCI wanted to warn you last episode that this one was going to feel a little off-putting to start but was a little concerned about my ability to do so without spoilers lol And I knew you'd figure it as you went, of course. But let's see if I can help to explain a little bit more now: The last episode felt like a finale because it originally was. After the show was cancelled this one was added to the dvd set to help to tell the story that the writers had always wanted to tell. I very much like the time jumpy storytelling but it is absolutely hella confusing watching it the first time through. It's a polarizing episode within the fanbase. Like I said I really enjoy it and it's current placement as a "second finale" but a lot of fans have some very strong feelings against it, not canon yada yada. Obvs I don't want to say anything to spoil it going forward but I'm very hyped to start to get in to the season 2 reactions. Edit: Oh my gosh, dude does sound like Paul! Annoyed "Stop it!) sounds exactly like something Paul would say and exactly like how he'd say it lol
