2K Goal Reached + What's Next?

Hi y'all,

Phew. Where to start... So 0.5 happened, and it gave us a huge boost in pledges making not only the android version but all the hard work and effort we put into it, worth it. Honestly we can't thank you, our fans, enough for this. It's well beyond that already, but we reached 2K/month and what that means is that I, Oni, am now working full time for Skullgear and Dandy Boy Adventures. This is not the end though, as Brakus, hour main programmer is still not. We still need your support to get there, to unlock Skullgear's full potential so I hope I'll be seeing you pledging in the future as well if that's something you'd like to see happening.

A couple of words about Brakus, (even though he's probably going to hate me for this) since he is the lesser known yet equally as important part of the team. He is the most hard working guy I know, the most talented programmer that I know, and the best friend that I have so it just kills me to be in this position where I cannot provide him with the pay that he deserves. But I'm focusing all my efforts from this point forward to lead us there. We can call this the end of the "Oni Saga" and the beginning of the "Brakus Saga". With all of your support, we'll make it in no time!

So, what's next? First of all, I'm using this extra financial boost that you gave us to get me a new computer to make the development as smooth as possible ( I'm rocking a 2008 MacPro atm... so MAYBE it was about time to do so. )

Also, I'm happy to announce that we are going to hire some voice actors to give all the girls unique voice clips that are unified with the sex sounds! We are not adding full voice acting mind you, since at this point it would be a nightmare to add, but a collection of words/reactions unique to each girl.

So that's where the money is going. I would also like to note that there's problems with the new version of SDL ( that DBA is using ) with MacOs  El Capitan 10.11. Newer operating systems work just fine. This is something we are looking into, but can't comment more at this point in time.

And last but not least... Let's talk about the next update! It'll be called 0.5.5 and I'm going to use it to polish and add more stuff to some of the older content. In top of this we'll be making more content, smaller amount but for multiple characters. By doing this we are trying to balance out the content gap between certain characters and storylines, and also to make the whole game feel less like an Alpha build, and more like a Beta build... We are also designing the next updates to take less time to complete now that the Android version is out, so you can rest easy.
