Backlog Update

I really hate to admit how behind I am with the queue. I've been making progress on cleaning it out, but with the emotional struggles over the summer and the frustrating runaround to replacing my phone at the end of September, I lost a lot of the momentum I had going. I've been slowly regaining it but I can't deny, it feels like I'm back where I started and it can feel overwhelming.
A friend approached me recently and offered to assist me with getting some of these done quicker. Mainly just handling the inking/coloring process while I handle the sketching. I was originally skeptical about if they could match my style so I handed them this Sunnie sketch to polish up and the quality is almost indistinguishable from my own, as seen here. It's actually kind of scary how accurate it is, never seen anyone nail my style before.
So, I likely will hand off a couple of my sketches to them, just to make my life less stressful and help me clear my backlog faster. I hate to do this because I know it probably disappoints a few of you that you aren't getting the full Floofyboyetime flavor you expected, but for my own sanity I need to let someone handle some of these. But don't worry about the quality, I will still be editing these to ensure that they'll be to my usual standard, I will never let anyone get a crappy drawing if you paid me for it.
I just wanted to be upfront about this, I was tempted to hide this fact but I can't bring myself to lie to the community who literally helps me pay my bills and survive in a world that consistently wants me to fail. I just really need to finish my backlog sooner, it's beginning to hurt me financially because I keep feeling too guilty to reopen publicly, it won't stop until more of it is completed.

2025-10-18 09:29:05 +0000 UTCOf course, I'll tell people about it. And thanks, I can't live with myself knowing there would be people who would wait over a year for that stuff. Not only would that be bad for future business I'd just feel kinda dirty for that. I don't normally want to involve others in it, but my backlog just became kind of a headache nowadays.

2025-10-18 07:14:14 +0000 UTCI would say at most credit your friend (if that’s okay with them) that way people who are interested can commission them too but I definitely can’t be mad at this. The fact that you’re willing to work alongside another person to make sure people get their commissions is admirable and I can’t thank you enough for your dedication
