Big pledge drop?

According to some comments on the Twitter post, the problem might have been caused by Patreon moving their payment system to the UK, meaning that a lot of charges were marked as fraudulent due to suddenly being overseas transactions. I had to call my bank, confirm the transaction as genuine, follow a link in the email I got from Patreon about the pledge processing failure, and retry the payment. So far, that seems to have worked.

2018-08-02 16:46:07 +0000 UTCAs others have said, it's a Patreon issue. From what I understand they switched to a UK based bank and a lot of charges are being flagged and declined. Yesterday I got a notice that detected Patreon as a fraudulent charge and declined the transaction. I had to confirm that it was okay and send payment again.

2018-08-02 16:26:07 +0000 UTCI think something changed in how patreon runs the transactions. My bank called me about suspicious activity on my card and I'm pretty sure my patreon charge was seen as a charge from a telemarketing firm

From what I understand Patron changed banks or something, so everyone's payment are being read as fraud. I just had to confirm with my bank it was okay and retry the payment. it's a huge pain in ass, but it's fixable
