Remember the Boyd Nelson and his family situation, not the financial part but the type of person he was and the type of person his wife is because it repeats itself in another storyline.

"You're the trailer park. I'm the Tornado" lol. I want that on a shirt too. Along with "what's the plan? Fuck it." The beginning was so emotional. I now fucken hate Jamie for doing that to Beth. All this shit Beth has been through. It's the kind of thing that a person would take their own life over, but maybe Beth feels that be too easy on everyone. She wants everyone feels her wraith. Beth is still suffering and she doesn't want to feel that suffering anymore.

They didn't sign anything because it would create a paper trail.... Beth didn't know about the sterilization part....

Francine Graham Jr

I thought that Beth got the abortion without knowing about the sterilization, but when she told rip she’s made two bad decisions from fear in her life, I think she chose to do it knowing well that she would be sterilized. Also, does this make Jimmy StarLord because he’s dating Thanos (Josh Brolin‘s) daughter Mia (Gamora) lol

K M

i disagree. she was a kid. I think he'd get over it

Hi Nikki! Hi Steven! In the show “Yellowstone,” the Indian tribe most prominently represented is the Crow Nation. The name Crow Nation or some form of its derivative would be pretty cool for your followers tuning in for Yellowstone reactions! The name also ties the best show ever and favorite of many, “Sons of Anarchy “. Anyway, that’s my vote!

I always believed the reason Beth never told Rip is because he would kill Jaimie. So I've never had a problem with Beth not telling Rip.... As far as her being told she was being sterilized or had to sign something first, Jaimie took care of that and just the thought of the government sterilizing Native American women, should tell you how sketchy it all was to begin with back then...😞

David Hoffman

🫡omg I need that shirt!!! She's all time!

Ashley

Now you KNOW😭 Tell Nikki, THIS was the answer to her question in season 2, when Beth charged on Jamie in the stall, after she watched Tate and Rip bonding. It triggered her trauma of being sterilized. 😢

Ashley

The only issue I have with this topic is that they would have told Beth. She would have had to sign something. Unless when they really did perform abortions they didn't inform them of it. I wouldn't put it past them. The things these poor people endured because of Americas government is disgusting. And I believe Beth is just as wrong as Jaime for lying to Rip. It is sad, but at some point she needs to own that and be honest with him. She is afraid he won't look at her the same. He wouldn't, but he would still love her and forgive her. He doesn't want kids. Beth is all he needs.

I love when rip walks into the bunkhouse all scary, sees beth and turns into a cuddly marshmellow

LEESA DRONE

Nikki I am also a willow, I see you girl

Lula Frey

If she tells him, she also has to tell him that she terminated the pregnancy and lied to his face about it. That is the only reason she hasn't told Rip yet.

However, everyone else is redeemable in someway because of their love and devotion (shown through actions). Rip & Lloyd to the ranch and John for the second chance he gave them. Kaycee to his family. Beth to Rip, John, Kaycee, and Monica. John to Tate. All of them flawed but have taken accountability and tried at least. Except Jaime 😒. Time and again without spoilers he chooses himself. He’s never taken accountability for his actions to Beth. He’s even thrown it in her face and blamed her in his selfishness. Kaycee has killed on the show in defense of others countless times. Jaime killed someone to cover up his narcissistic crime of snitching on his entire family 😂. No comparison there. I do wish we could have seen more Lee.

Biancalama

You dont ever look at Jamie the same after this episode. EVER

Paul T Hewes

Jamie is 100% not a good person not just underneath but no one in the family is except from maybe Lee who is gone. Even Kacey is only keeping his soul because of Monica and Tate, otherwise he is gone,. Beth benefits from destroying peoples lives and careers for a living, John has done terrible things to keep the promise made to his father. Loyd whom I love, has murdered countless people, and same with Rip. You can't really call a hitman a good guy. That is what he and Loyd are, they will literally kill any person Jon asks, no questions asked, but we enjoy both. We don't know a lot about Lee, but he is the only one who seemed to have a pure heart and soul out of the Family. Good is boring, with a lot of good we wouldn't have a good drama. Monica & Tate are the only 2 good characters in the show, and that is a good thing.

Now you know why Beth hates Jamie. And to be honest, if i was her i would just tell Rip and watch him tear Jamie limb from limb. But also, yes that happened on reservations for real. The American genocide of American Indians was an organised policy over a 200 year period, probably one of the worst genocides in world history.

Joe

If we give try to give grace for Jaime being a young adult, then we also have to acknowledge those selfish narcissistic opportunistic tendencies he has as well. John talked about the Yellowstone legacy from the time they were born. Hell he was sending Jaime to Harvard to get better at protecting it for the next generation. That said, he understood what sterilization would mean for Beth, but selfishly for himself as well. That made one less sibling to share with. Remember he constantly said he wanted to be John. Lastly, Jaime has not been a remorseful brother this entire series (maybe one scene). He has been equally as antagonistic with Beth at times, which is insane now that you know what he took from her. He’s never tried to make amends or own his horrible choice. That’s why I don’t forgive his actions. His continued selfishness shows he’s not a good person underneath 🤷‍♀️.

Biancalama

She wished for Rip to beat Kacey so bad that he never came back, in order to protect him by making him stay away from the ranch. Remember when she said to Monica next time you leave take him with your, he is too good for this family. She loves him, and has a special bond with him because he too was damaged first hand by their mother's death and was her favorite kid.

Its just a messy situation. Jamie was a kid as well. There is a reason why you go to your parents with shit like that, even though you feel scared of the consequences. Beth is afraid to let daddy down, and Jamie is afraid to even talk to him about it. It all comes down to John not being there for his children after his wife left. The one to blame the most is John, both kids did not tell him because they are intimidated by him. I love his character he is my favorite in the show, but he is a failure of a father trying to gather the pieces which is why its such a good drama.

This has been one of my favorite shows since sons of anarchy ended. Fun fact I just found out, teeter is Micheal Landon’s daughter

Ted

In a small way I still feel like a Jamie was a kid too and just did whatever he could figure out to do… of course he should have told Beth what would happen, but did he fully understand the ramifications… I don’t know. Jamie has always felt like a bit of an outsider..and we find out why eventually as well. It’s so messy and sad.

The blonde is the actress that Walker married this year.

Now you guys can understand (if you remember) why Beth blew up at Jamie in the barn once right after she saw Rip being good to Tate. She was reminded that she would never have Rip’s baby.

Sophie.com

Finally y’all understand why she hates him! Now think back to an earlier ep from season one where Beth came home after that crazy gun shooting fight in the car with Jamie and she sees John in bed reading a bedtime book with tate. Then she went in her closet and screamed and screamed and screamed. She mourns the loss of her ability to birth children. She always will. My heart aches for her.

I have a Yellowstone shirt that says You are the Trailer Park I am the Tornado lol. I think I got it from Boot Barn but if you google it you’ll find tons of items with the phrase. I was so glad to get to this episode and find out why Beth hates Jamie so much even though there are some plot holes with that storyline that bother me a little ngl. Makes for good drama though I guess.

ProphecyGirl_

Love this episode its so good and a huge episode for Beth's character.
