I finally got to watch this with you folks. I watched the original Godzilla movies growing up (and as an adult), and loved them. But this one...WOW! It was incredible.

2024-08-29 14:28:13 +0000 UTCOppenheimer and Godzilla Minus One are not only the best movies of 2023, but my two favorite anti war films. Godzilla is a mutant Kaiju. A manifestation of war. All those nuclear weapons testing wiped out everything it was being tested on, but it mutated Godzilla into what he is. I was able to see it twice in theaters. The first time watching Godzilla Minus One in theaters, I love horror movies even thought they're not scary, but hearing Godzilla's roar with that great surround sound was terrifying and thrilling at the same time. I watch it in theaters again and again.
