To those confining themselved to the basement with porn, what to offer them which is better. I think one of the speakers in the podcast says something like what about improving your personality. (To get a partner.) Well it's easier said than done. But you used to think something like ooh, I'll learn guitar , that'll get girls. (Even when it didn't work nothing was lost.) On a political level, what would help with such individual self-improvement projects? There are some edgy , subcultural movements of the past , gnostic sects, and weird tantric cults, which could be revived, and I reckon they'd be authentic alternatives, both to marriage and mortgage and getting knee deep in human progeny, and to the quick fix of porn and hiring sex workers/creating sex'bots.
