I always fast forward through it

After I saw how awful the first episode was I wanted Felix to rip this show a new one.

"Cop + Podcaster cant be too far away" that one sort of already happened with the new dexter.

lucifier really feels like one of those fake shows from 30 rock when jack was trying to tank the network.

The guys didn't mention that well-worn procedural trope: the Cop/Not a Cop combination. There's been a Cop + mathematician (Numbers), Cop + Psychiatrist (oh so many). I even recall a summer series where it was a Cop + a Taxi Driver. So a Cop + The Devil is not really that surprising.

Tom and Drew’s idea for a show is just if Dennis Reynolds was a TV writer

The comic Lucifer was actually written by Mike Carey based on the Lucifer character from Neil Gaiman's Sandman and it's one of my favorite comics ever. It spans universes and is beautiful art. Things it has in common with the Lucifer TV series: - Nightclub called Lux - A character named Mazikeen and that's it.
