as first time watchers, you guys got pretty close in figuring things out which is already really impressive as is. i read the manga before th anime came out and i had to re-read it a few times

Ah-Dou and the current emperor were born at the same time and Ah-Dou's mother was the wet nurse for the emperor. So, they are not related, they just were weaned from the same woman. It is also unlikely that Ah-Duo's mother was a noble as nobles do not act as wet nurses.
