Aww the sleepy morning voice 🥺❤️uwu🤭 it’s kinda perfect to wake up to 😴🥰:P I never played Mario Kart growing up cause I only had a PlayStation, and I’ve always been terrible at racing games in general, so playing with a past group of friends (and my ex) in previous years was kind of tragic 😂😅 It was a good race for me if I actually managed to *finish* before the game got tired of waiting for me 🙈🙈🙈 I was always that kid that would read the game manual cover to cover, and then run all the tutorials, before even starting the game! 😂🙈 Sink or swim is not an effective learning strategy for me, and being thrown into all their childhood videogames with literally no help and no clue, desperately mashing buttons without knowing what they did, meant that I was pretty much queen of last place in every single game. :/ I did have fun, I’m not a sore loser, but it would have been soo much better if anyone would have been willing to take 30 seconds to explain the controls to me when I’d ask for help… 😔 It was always “you’ll figure it out…” :/ (Only game I ever figured out successfully was Mario Party, and I was nearly undefeated, to the great annoyance of everyone else 😂😂😂 They’d always get salty and joke that I wasn’t allowed to play anymore 😂😂😂) But, I played Mario Kart with my bestfriend’s boyfriend this past weekend, and had a completely different experience... 🥺❤️ I said I’d play for fun, but when I warned him that I was terrible and didn’t really know how to play, he just paused the game and took a few minutes to go over all the controls with me, and then gave me a few pointers as we went through the course. It kinda stunned me, him being so kind and patient when I’d never even asked for help, because I was so used to being told dismissively to figure it out on my own when I did ask for help. Having friends in my life who are so naturally and infallibly kind, and patient, and generous, and loving, when I’ve never really been on the receiving end of that…. I just… I literally tear up thinking about all of them. 🥺❤️🥹 I really do have them best friends I could possibly imagine, and I don’t have the words to convey how grateful I am that we found each other. 🥺❤️😭 I have so much love in my heart that I’ve given so freely to everyone I meet, without expecting anything in return. And I love who I am, I love being a person who brings love and light and happiness into the lives of people around me. But it’s hard, sometimes, when all you want is to be soft, and vulnerable, and feel safe, but no one is gentle with you. 🥺❤️ When you so lovingly take care of everyone else, but no one else takes care of you… 🥺❤️ I’ve lost so many people that I’ve loved throughout my life, and I’ve always struggled to let go, even though time and distance has always shown me that better things wait in my future whenever I’ve found the courage to trust in myself and my path, and move blindly forward, one step at a time. I realize now that, as hard as it’s been, I’ve never ended up regretting it when I look back… not once… 🥺❤️ Maybe I’m finally learning to stop fighting so hard against change, to stop fearing the future so much, because it really can be better than you’ve ever imagined… 🥺❤️❤️🥺🥰 And you know what? Not only did I have another amazing time visiting my little group of the best friends in the whole world, but, for the first time, in my whole life, I came first in a racing game… 🥺❤️❤️❤️🥹😭🥰

It was my first time asking a question and having my name mentioned just sent me shivers down my spine, no kidding! Also, I legit took notes on the financial advise! And to the one asking about finances since you're moving out/in, I actually moved out of my mum's and got a place of my own 3 weeks ago. It is scary, ngl. But thats just it, its something new so it would be a little scary. But, try to plan out, finances and also routine, and you'll be able to adjust in no time!
