We need Yu Yu Hakusho on there. People are complaining about all the anime options, but Yu Yu Hakusho was one of the early inspiration shows like Dragon Ball Z. It just didn't get as much attention, because it's a lot shorter.

Well... looks like Death Note is the winner. I've only seen the first episode. The show seemed a bit dark for my taste to continue with it. But since that's what won this poll, I guess I'll have to watch it all the way through now. At least I know they'll get a good discussion from it. I love One Punch Man, and I loved their reaction to it, but it was kind of a shame that there wasn't much for them to discuss. It's just a funny anime. Hope they'll get to react to My Hero Academia next poll.

As someone else said, Death Note episodes are 22 minutes each and just watching one a week I feel will lose some of the suspense that builds up. Reactions I've watched that really built it up greatly were at least twice a week and not sure how enjoyable the once a week format will be for the guys. Just concerned here since it seems Death Note will win.

My concern with Death Note is its episode length. They might be better served watching it in pairs/triplets because some of the episodes are super short and nothing much happens. I didn't realize this until I started rewatching it.

Also, if you're going to watch Death Note or My Hero Academia, watch them subbed. Please. For the love of god. Not only are the subbed versions better, but dubs are TERRIBLE for reactions, especially group reactions. You guys talk over people while they're talking. That is how you miss things. Please, just watch them subbed. If you're going to watch dubbed, then just don't even react to them at all. The voice acting in Death Note in particular is far better in the sub. The dub voices are so bland and dull and ill-fitting for the characters. Death Note is a very dialogue-heavy series. If you are talking over them you will miss EVERYTHING.

Firefly would be the most fun to watch together with them though. The humour and underlying character mystery would jyve well with their style, and also the episode count is small. (sad panda) Also, Death note was one of those shows back in high school i just never got the hype for. It had a hell of a premise, and a decent execution at the start, but it just went downhill fast and the hype killed it even before that. L was never that smart and everything past that is kind of a troped trainwreck.

The MHA dub isn't too bad. I've watched a different reactor react to the dub version and it's not bad. I personally like the sub, but Blind Wave did one of the OPM OVA in sub and it makes sense for them to watch the dub. They aren't able to react and have conversations as well with the sub version because then they miss information... Now I don't know about Death Note. I've only seen the first episode. It was a bit dark for my taste, but if that's what wins, I may have to try watching it.

i think you underestimate MHA. It is redefining Shonen and quickly becoming the new top dog, on the level of the Big 3 and Dragonball. Its hype is not going anywhere. Death Note is also more relevant than ever with the Netflix Film.

While Death Note is great, it's more important to get them to see MHA now. The hype will subside a bit after Season 2 ends and it'll become harder to get it to win a poll until S3 drops. By comparison, Death Note's appeal is functionally permanent. And by the looks of it, Death Note wod inevitably win the poll following MHA anyway, so it'll be two back-to-back great anime shows.

Don't know how Breaking Bad is second to last in this poll when it's one of the greatest TV shows OF ALL TIME. It's miles ahead of every other show on this list in terms of quality. I know Eric's seen Breaking Bad but if the others haven't then seeing them react to it would be AWESOME, especially considering it's hard to find people who haven't watched the show by now (and there's like 0 reactions to it on YouTube because by the time reaction videos were really a thing, the show had been done for years). It's not going to win though because of all the damn weeaboos on here. My vote goes to Firefly. It's such a great classic that I would love seeing you guys react to and it's pretty short, so you could finish it up and move on to something longer in much less time than it would take for the others. I adore Death Note, but Breaking Bad would be my second choice if only to take a break from replacing OPM with another animated show right away, though Death Note is also great. Admittedly I've not seem MHA. And I've seen some of Black Sails and if seemed okay, though not as good as BB, Firefly or Death Note in my humble opinion.

I think personally MHA would be better to follow along with them as it is still (relatively) fresh for them and we can see them follow along shortly behind us. Death Note will always be an excellent series sitting out there to watch at anytime, and its so (relatively short) it can be fit in whenever.

It's frustrating that the copyright strikes are limiting some solid choices for poll options. AoT is strongly affected by this, and I would personally love to see the guys tackle Twin Peaks, but it seems like Showtime absolutely destroyed reactors to it this season.

Firefly is just 14 episodes + Serenity movie. It's a short but amazing show. Deserved much more than it got.

Firefly is the shortest; they'd be done with it in 14 weeks whereas Breaking Bad is the longest and would take them 62 weeks to finish. Plus I've seen a bunch of reactors recently get their Breaking Bad reactions struck and taken down.

Still no aot? Oh. So good to know their bias totally doesn't affect what gets watched. Pretty sure it was a runner up, youtube winner, and more. But alright. Because that's fair. Very transparent. The copyright excuse only gets you so far when it's possible to be fine. Literally several channels untouched, but throwing my tiny but of a personal grudge away over them essentially deciding the outcome; my hero academia is the best choice listed up here.
