I liked that they used him to connect to a main character instead of cheapening the death of somebody like Tommy for a shock reveal. I also like how last season you guys were joking about him becoming "Death-Man" or something like that and then he pretty much did.

i liked it but i just feel like it was just bad timing like dinah's story about her partner dieing was 10 months ago when in fact should have been at the beginning of this season so we felt more connected to him instead of thinking who the hell is that.

It wasn't a great twist but they have to introduce new characters related to Dinah so they can have new stories about her which I'm ok with.

I was disappointed by the reveal because I'm not invested in Dinah's parter as a character, we don't know anything about him. But I'm happy if it means we get to learn more about Dinah's past and get more depth on her character.

I know difficulty with actors' schedules were the cause but I would have loved if Adrian was Vigilante and Tommy was Prometheus. Dinah's ex-lover as Vigilante? No, thanks. Flashpoint was a huge factor that literally changed the Arrowverse but it only affected Arrow by having Diggle have a son instead of a daughter.

I liked it, but I just wanted it to be someone who meant something to "us"; not so much a guy I paid no attention to but that did make it more surprising. His healing explains being pushed off of the rooftop by Prometheus and walking away but I also heard his powers were limited to just being bullet proof.

It's stated he had plastic surgery which is why facial recognition didn't work, so yeah, maybe. I always imagined that he tried to kill the actual Chase and failed.

All in all I am on the fence. It's a great conflict of interest for Dinah. But I dunno it just felt off after all all of last season. I don't dislike it though, I will wait and see.

The scene where Dinah reveals his identity to the team was so well-performed that it completely sold me on the story potential of his identity. They found a great way to make it someone basically new, but also create a real personal investment for one of the team members.

I liked the reveal. Wasn’t expecting him but gives Dinah more Arc. Be interesting to see where that goes and the actor did a good job.

i didn't want the vigilante to be tied to anyone on the team just a badass dude fighting crime the way he thought was best. He was keeping up with Oliver and Prometheus last season now he's some cop dude with healing that will have CW drama with Dinah. great.

It didnt effect me because many people like me had not a clue who he was except for Arrow experts like Eric and Aaron.

Hated it, it could have and should have been the original Adrian Chase like in the comics, we could've gotten that actor back too since Prometheus basically stole his identity.

I didn't mind there was really no one else it could be that would have been a better reveal. If it had been Curtis's ex that would have been stupid. But hey at least we got Slade going Mortal Kombat on criminals

I'm on the fence, I mean there weren't many other options, it was either someone they know or totally random guy. Though this does add to the list of villains that share some kind of past with the good guys (Malcolm, Slade, Ra's, Deadshot, Calculator, Black Siren, Andy Diggle, Chase, Artemis, Talia, etc). Don't really have a problem with it just pointing it out.

Kind of indifferent here. I mean ALOT of people speculated itd be him and when we saw we were right, it was just ok. I think the biggest take away from the vigilante encounter is the fact that hes technically a metahuman.

I liked it because it wasn’t predictable, which often these plot lines are, I would have been more annoyed if it was Roy,Adrian,Quintin or another character we know, now I’m interested to see his back story and relationship with Dinah.

The only reason I can see not to like it is if you were expecting it to be some grand reveal of a character we were very familiar with. Other than that I found the actor to be very likeable and am happy Dinah is getting her own plot line!

If you rewatch S5E15 in the first fight scene with Vigilante he immediately uses non-lethal force on Dinah when he sees her face... FORESHADOWING!

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, I was more indifferent. When they showed his face I didn't recognize him, the only reason I realized who it was was because Dinah was the one who saw him revealed first.

I mean they backed themselves into a corner last season went Chase was actually Prometheus, so it made sense to just get it over with, and I think they did a good job with that
