Gallows Tree (Adventurer)

Festooned with grisly ornaments, this creature may once have been a mere tree, but is now a devious trap for the unwary, just as the unfortunate souls put to death in its branches are not truly dead, but mere puppets under the creature's control.
Adventurers would do well to ignore the damned, and give them a wide berth, lest they join them among the clawlike boughs for eternity.
