Happy Weekend π

So for the past couple of months I've been struggling with my recorder (zoom h6) it frequently has little power surges in the middle of recordings and ruins parts of the audio for my videos. I've had to cut out crucial parts of videos just because the audio suddenly starts buzzing. I've done everything external I can think of to fix it (using different cables, different mics, turning off all phantom/plug in power, cleaning the battery contacts and cleaning cable connection points, using different sd card...) and no matter what it still happens.
That means it's time for a new recorder :) This time I went with tascam brand instead!
I'll be happy to have interference free audio again!!!

i've made the same mistake as well. back in HS my dad enlightened me on the distinction one late afternoon as he picked me up from practice. i asked him what the deal was behind the long weekend and he gave me the same explanation. every now and then i get roped into celebration but i always take a moment to thank those who gave their lives for what we have today. thanks for the reminder Gary

Most vets won't call you on it, but it can be awkward for them. Hope you work out your buzzing issues. You might try changing your cabling to gold plated as well.
