2023-12-08 09:16:32 +0000 UTCThe super narrow staging has to do with the stage the song is meant to be performed on- they were preparing for an awards show that had a ridiculously sharp thrust stage! They actually later performed the same track at their fan-concert ‘Caratland’ with some more traditional staging! I noticed Mingyu almost tripping over his feet avoiding stepping on people’s hands when he walked forward for his part, I think because he was thinking he would actually fall OFF a stage if he went over that line… what a challenge! I think they were one of the few groups at that show that utilized the staging so well! (Also I’m currently catching up on your reactions since I finally finished my semester!)

This was choreographed specifically for an award show where they performed a bunch of songs - hence the number of extra dancers. That was the first time they performed this song (they tend to that for award shows where they pick fan favorites off the album that they maybe hadn't gotten the chance to perform live yet)
