2024-09-10 13:04:09 +0000 UTCSo basically what we know from the teaser: - New rule that teams will judge each other (no information on whether this is for the whole competition or just specific rounds, also no information on how this is different from the ranking/voting system in previous iterations). - One person from each group is nominated as their "Ace" to compete in an Ace battle. - The penalty for being last place in the Ace battle will be a penalty for the entire group, not just the Ace member. From what the The New Six and 8turn members said, it sounds like they didn't know the stakes of the Ace battle before choosing their Ace member, but this could just be the narrative mnet's trying to spin. I won't talk about the spoilers/leaks or the drama side of it all but there is a lot of anger directed at mnet currently due to the editing, as you may have guessed, and due to some of the leaked rules. We already pretty much know who placed last, how they were judged, and the penalty for placing last in the Ace battle. Also, today is actually the day that they're recording the 2nd round so here's hoping they all do well and no one gets hurt 🙏
