Community Post - AC-SCT Small Progress // December Hiatus

Hey folks!

I would like to thank all of you who have supported my projects and shared your enthusiasm / appreciation for my output this year. It was a big step for me to start making apps, AI lines, pit extensions and a huge Car List Excel sheet for the Assetto Corsa community. Thank you so much for those who have left kind comments and suggestions, be it here or primarily on Overtake.gg.

That being said, my output has slowed down significantly and I definitely apologise on that end. Life and general burnout from AC took a toll on development, and next year isn't looking better as I may be getting busier. Regardless, here's a small preview.

AC Simple Championship Tracker - where's the Team update???

I hate sharing previews when the work isn't done yet - but to ease some concerns, I will share some. It has been a very convoluted programming task for me to reach this point where I can automatically generate Teams based on the entries' Skin details (think of all the connections that need to be made), and to also provide the in-app configuration. I want to ensure that the entire foundation of the Teams function is more-or-less solid, and that took me a long time to conceptualize.

The Standings are also not ready yet - nothing else is calculated yet at the moment, such as Ratings, or Summary / Chart Mode, or exporting Team standings to PDF / PNG.

This is also after a few bug fixes, including a bug where the app couldn't process the Pure weather value that is stored in the result .json files.

But hey, its progress! As mentioned before, I'm putting in the effort even if it takes a long time because I know many people would love this feature.

But then its December.

And that means the holidays are coming up. :( I'm going on a trip so I will not be able to work on the app likely for the rest of the year. I really wanted to get an update out by the holidays but alas it is only likely next year. But I appreciate the honestly undue patience for those waiting on this project. Please don't sub if there's no updates. But I can't control how you spend your money. 😅
