How is it going, guys? Today it will be a short update.
Future video
While I was thinking about the future video, Fire_Head said that he had managed to find anti-piracy measures in the PS2 version of one specific GTA game. As always out of the blue with new exclusive facts and material. This dude never stops to amuse me. If anti-piracy measures on PC were meant to make the cracking process harder, PS2 measures were there to deal with cheap bootlegs. You know, those cheap looking discs you probably saw for sale in shady places decades ago.
And these were very special measures as they meant to stop DVD to CD conversions. I mean, if you make an exact copy of the game, the measures won't be triggered and you are good to go. However, if you decide to put the game on a CD by removing files, you will trigger them. Right now Fire_Head had managed to find two main measures and, sadly, they aren't goofy for you to laugh about or nightmarish to feel miserable. They are very basic. On the other hand the whole idea around them is kinda interesting and this is something I would like to talk about on my channel.
Right now the video is in a very early stage as we have to check a lot of stuff. This is why I was trying to find people on Twitter and YouTube who might have bootlegs with the missing music around. In theory, it might help Fire_Head to understand how these bootlegs were made and how bootleggers bypassed the measures. Unfortunately, as I thought, the chances to find them on CDs are pretty small. They do exist, but were either thrown in the garbage years ago or lost forever. All I see are these crazy bootlegs from Middle East, which are cool, but useless for us.

Right now it is going to be a small video, but who knows, maybe Fire_Head will find more stuff. :P
As soon as I have enough facts, I will start polishing the script.

As always, thank you for watching and supporting me. I hope to see you soon.
