This was a classic who villain, it was great to see the Ice Warriors again, it must not make much impact for you since you aren't familiar with classic villains

Yeah these next couple of episodes all feel underdeveloped and are underwhelming as a result. I would have to think the reason being was they were crunched for time so Moffat could focus on the 50th & Christmas

My favorite FAVORITE speech of 11’s and best believe everyone was comparing this speech to Tennants when this episode came out. Ughh will forever make me teary eyed every time .

When I was thinking about the second half of season seven I couldn't remember many of the episodes off the top of my head. Now I know why haha.. very mediocre.. which is a shame because I find the 11 and Clara bond great.

Don't edit out that interruption! Although entertaining enough,this story is representative of the second half of series 7. You get the (probably correct) feeling that Moffat was concentrating so hard on the 'significant stuff' later down the line,that he was content to just tread water with stories to fill the schedule.

Not one of the best episodes - good to see a classic villain return - I believe Tennent makes a reference to the Ice Warriors in Waters of Mars

Suggestion for a classic story to watch is The Five Doctors. It's a good introduction to a lot of the big stuff in the classic series and it was the 25th anniversary special also!

Not a favourite of mine, but I'm intrigued to find out your reaction to it. Edit: Yep that was pretty much my impression of the episode as well. The good news is there are some much better ones ahead.

Only recently watched 1-8 of Game Of Thrones, hadn't realised the amount of actors who have been in both shows until now. Like this episode, think there's only two episodes in this half of the season that I didn't like that much. Can't say I'm an Ice Warrior fan, the hissing irritates me.
