2020-05-31 10:44:18 +0000 UTCGreat reaction. Really enjoying how invested you are with these sets of episodes. They are seriously good even on a rewatch. My only issue with this episode is that I don't have sympathy for Envy and while I understand that Mustang needed to calm down, I don't see how killing Envy would push him over the edge. I'm definitely in the minority but I feel like Mustang was justified in finishing off Envy. Love the relationship he has with Riza though.

The develop lment of Mustang and Hawkeye is potent...and the fact that the writing actually kind of makes you pity Envy...despite how vile he is....is remarkable. The episodes remind me sooo much on just how good this show was...especially is its final arc.
