While we've seen Askeladd play chess all this time, it seems even he was caught off guard at the end by the king seeing right through hi by mentioning Wales. Meanwhile, it's great to see the objective of reaching Vinland getting back into our sights, with Leif seemingly finding a way to get Thorfinn to see purpose in it again. One more to go!

I think I already knew what it was gonna be called for a while. Plus people called S1 a prologue from the start so I can't say it surprised me much no hehe
