What do you think of this saying? As long as you are not delusional, I think this is a good piece of advice to take in. How words affects us is beyond our understanding! We underestimate the power of words. There has been experiences made where they took 2 plants; one plant was given compliments and the 2nd plant was being cursed. After a while, they examined the impact of the words on those plants and the 1st plant that received compliments grew beautifully but the 2nd plant that received bad words did not grow nor look good.
It's the same with us, don't let other people words get into you and change you, UNLESS it's for the best! Give yourself compliments even if you don't believe a word of it and watch yourself grow like a plant.
