sasuke is just thinking about how naruto has been getting stronger and even though he thought he himself was getting stronger and thus forever will be better than naruto he realised with the last encounter with itachi that as a matter of fact he isnt strong enough and someone who he always thought was weaker than him (naruto) is now possibly stronger than him as well, at least enough for itachi to pay attention to him and ignore sasuke. a matter of pride i suppose

2024-12-01 13:40:04 +0000 UTCYep, those few scenes were from the filler. And the 4 guys Orochimaru sent to the Leaf we have seen before. They kept the barrier up when Orochimaru fought 3rd Hokage and then took Orochimaru and ran with him.
