This took... a really long time. Mostly because I was learning a lot of new things while doing it, like clothes, picking my values more carefully, trying something more painterly in some places, etc.

I'm really happy with how the pose for the completed piece turned out. Making a hand part of the focal point of the image was a challenge because I had to make sure it looked nice. The tongue shape was really fun!!

Figure Studies: 1min and 5 min

Speed takes practice, and this is a great way for me to work on form and not getting slogged down in details at the same time! I might do some longer ones later, but for now, I'm doing a few more of these.

Total work time: ~45 mins (ignoring setting up, changing canvas, etc)
