Neutral Labs ELMYRA2 sound FX

I've been playing with this for the past couple of weeks and lost a few evenings to creating some weird tones. It's a difficult one to sample as every time you touch something it changes! I've put this very small pack together that includes some FX blasts and sweeps. Not too many but ones that I think could be useful.

Analogue Solutions Maximus Wavetables

I spent a while attempting to create wavetables for the Groove Synthesis 3rd Wave using the Maximus oscillators - sweeping the filter, sync sweeps etc.

I found the most reliable way was to create them in Serum first - so here's a pack for you.

There are 12 in all.  They've been saved as 128 waves in each wave...

Analogue Solutions MAXIMUS drum samples

Here's a selection of 135 analogue drum tones I created on the MAXIMUS. They're typical of the type of sounds you can make while creating a rhythm tracks on it - no 909s here, more late 70s/early 80s pure synth tones.

I've recorded all 32 original patterns + Fills via MIDI plus all the 14 tones as

1.standard settings

2. extra long decay

3. extra long decay at lowest tuning

This should give a fair bit to play with and tweak in any sampler.

I got my hands on one pre-release ... made a vid and took some samples!

They're in WAV and AIFF format.  The fun with these is when using very similar sounds from step to step to create a natural sounding pattern... or not!

A book by Mr ARP himself

I came across this book written by David Friend and Alan R Pearlman.  If you weren't aware ARP are Alan's initials. Ha and David Friend are the ARP's designers and the 2600 was originally intended as an educational instrument to help people understand synthesis.
