My summer holiday started this week. I should think of some fun project to work on.

Glam-up

I spent some time adjusting the latest purple boy model.

• Added fur to the ears and cheeks

• Remodeled the nose to be more feline-like

• Added some stylized eyelashes

Last weekend I had some guests over, so I took that week off. I continued sketching and refining this weekend.

I decided to try adjusting how I work some time back. Basically I aim to spend more time refining the sketches. Give them some more time to take form. So thing's are taking more time to finish..

I spent a good time trying out different brushes and workflows, but I have very little to show from it! I guess the main takeaway is that I need to adopt the habit of doing a clean-up sketch before inking?

Some animation tests

I've been playing around with hand drawn animations. I haven't yet managed to clean up any in a way that I'm happy with, though, but maybe at some point.

I've just one problem... These take a lot of time, and I don't know if people are too keen to have me work long periods for a few seconds of moving pictures.
