Hacksaw Ridge (2016) Reaction

After Saving Private Ryan, I definitely expected a similar experience out of this as a WW2 movie but I ended up being pleasantly surprised by the very different direction. It was a very personal heartfelt movie, with the entire first half spent on exploring Desmon's character and principles. Another great watch!
