Simple and quick illustration this time. I'm still playing around with different ways of getting to a passable finish, I think with this one, using a stronger but smaller light area really helps to narrow down the focus of the drawing.

Took a while with this one, I still think I can improve my background workflow a lot. I feel like the sketch and lineart came out really easily compared to my other works, I'll have to figure out what I did right.

Did this kind of quickly in between commissions, I like the faces and hair drawing, but I always feel like I fall short in making an impactful drawing and it shows a lot in the coloring stage.

Ended up changing my workflow quite a bit with this one, mostly on transitioning from sketch to color, leaving clean lines for later once forms are defined. I like how this looks composition wise and the colors are nice.

This one came out nicely IMO, I think the hands look especially clean compared to most of my previous work. At several points during coloring I was having to turn down the saturation of several parts, multiply layers can get a bit funky when handling already saturated colors and throw the whole thing off balance.

This one took me much longer compared to others, if you see the timelapse you'll understand why. I basically rendered the whole picture in grayscale first, I probably could have spent much less time in that section and jumped to color much much earlier, but I was applying a lot of new theory so I didn't suffer through it much...

Went sicko mode on this one, I'm honestly very surprised that I finished it this fast, granted it doesn't have very complex shading or many elements but I still think it looks pretty good.

I think the hands look ok but are my far the weakest aspect, I still have a lot to learn.

This commission took a little longer than I expected, if you see the time-lapse you might notice I completely redid the shading several times lol. I'm still trying to maneuver between different workflows and getting the hang of when to use them and how to fix stuff when it doesn't work.

Thick fauna

Went with a simpler approach to lighting on this one, I think I'm finally getting comfortable with this body type, next would be to make more dynamic poses or scenes with more stuff going on

Tried out a value approach to this one, I think it came out well.

I still feel like I have to get more experience with different materials and when do paint them but its getting there.
