these are pretty similar to my original sketches, but a bit fisheyed to make it less stiff + simplified a little- i think i tend to get too caught up in details and things end up visually confusing. backgrounds are hard!

this is my midterm for chinese class LOL. the prof felt bad that half the people in the (beginner mandarin!) class are fully fluent so she gave them a harder assignment and gave us the "fun" assignment of singing a chinese song and making a video for it, and it WAS fun but i don't think she considered how embarrassing it's go...
