I had this idea about TASM3 and I thought that it might be a good little side project? Not sure if I do the whole story, was thinking about little snippets here and there.

Sorry for making you wait! This particular art was very hard one.
But I also added one extra comic page as a thank you. Plus I thought the main piece didn't have enough... parts visible.
It is my first time drawing Venom, so I thought it will be interesting to share the process:
1) Draw the Venom shape with solid black color.
2) Choose the light source. Since you are basically drawing the slime, the light will be strong one.

Initially I wanted to draw something sweet, like everyday life kind of thing, but somehow it turned into sad thing again.
I just kept on thinking how some (most) of the heroes in Marvel talk about Wade. And how hard it probably is for Peter to listed to it, if they want to keep their relationship private.

I usually don't use too many layers for both comic art and semi-realistic art. I find it too confusing if I have more than 4-5.
For lineart, it is usually three layers: borders, characters, and background.
Just a silly page!
Will post some tricks I've learned tomorrow with some explanations about how I use layers.
Just a little FAQ about what program, tablet, and brushes (with settings) I use.
I think I've answered questions about it several times, but I think it's good to combine all of it here as a start for WIP series, where I share the process and some tricks I've learned and still learning.
I thought it would be interesting to post WIP for the previous art since with dark background there are a lot of details that are not quite visible.
