January

The next couple of videos I'll be working on are going to be on SCP-7243, followed by another Warhammer video, but then that leads us into January. This last January I took some time off and uploaded a handful of combined SCP videos to fill the gap. I'd like to take some time off again this coming January, so I've been workin...

Exploring Warhammer 40k: The Adepta Sororitas

The Exploring Series post Exploring Warhammer 40k: The Adepta Sororitas from patreon

I do think there is something a bit fetishistic about the Sororitas, especially the Sisters Repentia, but I am glad overall that they're a part of the setting.

Next Warhammer 40k Video

Looks like I'll be covering the Sisters of Battle this week. Since it's looking most likely that the next two SCP videos will be on 7243, this poll will determine the video for the 1st of January.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-7819 - No Vacancy

The Exploring Series post Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-7819 - No Vacancy from patreon

Really fun article. I think with DJkaktus being retired, Rounderhouse might just be my favorite active author on the wiki.

SCP-7819 is the winner of the poll this time, but it's unfortunate timing due to the Volgun just putting out a video on it. I could switch temporarily to covering the latest Admonition article, but I doubt that will make much of a difference. This poll will determine the video for the 18th of December.

Not my favorite of the chaos gods, but I absolutely love artwork of the faction.

They were neck and neck, but we're gonna go with Khorne as the next video. This poll will determine the video for the 11th of December.

Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-7503 - Sacrum Humanum Imperium

The Exploring Series post Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-7503 - Sacrum Humanum Imperium from patreon

A pleasant little mix of 40k and SCP. Of course, the 40k Imperium would wipe the floor with the 7503 Imperium, but that's not really the point.

Had to go back quite a ways to look at the last poll, but we're gonna go with SCP-7503, combining a bit of SCP with 40k. This poll will determine the video for the 4th of December.

Exploring Warhammer 40k: Tzeentch, the Lord of Change

The Exploring Series post Exploring Warhammer 40k: Tzeentch, the Lord of Change from patreon

Back to normal. Tzeentch certainly reminds me somewhat of Nyarlathotep, so I'd probably rank him just behind Nurgle for my personal favorite.

So in all the hubbub of October, I apparently forgot that I didn't have a poll going on for 40k vids, so I'm just going to go with the other leading option from the last poll, which would be Tzeentch. This poll will determine the video for the 27th of November.

The Exploring Series post Exploring the SCP Foundation: The ABCs of Death (Compilation) from patreon

And here it is, the grand finale. I hope many of you enjoyed this month, and overall I'm still glad that I did it. As a heads up, I won't be putting out a video next Monday, the 6th, but then I'll get back to it.

The Lurking Fear by H.P. Lovecraft (Audiobook)

The Exploring Series post The Lurking Fear by H.P. Lovecraft (Audiobook) from patreon

I think I originally said I would do like a 15 minute audiobook for the 30th, but that felt too short, so enjoy this hour long one instead.

Probably the weakest entry in the series in my opinion, but at least it's also the shortest.

This was another one of my favorites of the month, mostly because I thought the prose was really well written.

Creepiness for this one probably depends on how you feel about puppets, and people speaking German.

I'm really not sure why, but I liked this one a lot. It feels sort of like if the Addams Family were an SCP or something.

Here's the big boy of the bunch, with not a whole lot of art. I think the length of this one actually works a bit to its detriment, especially due to the ending. I don't dislike the whole thing, but it doesn't quite compare to Gesundheit.
