This is a common issue i find in mix downs and something i know i benefited from learning. its a general rule to figure out a good base line for your vocals from which you can expand on.

It only works for shaperbox3 as the older versions don’t have this audio trigger feature. So it’s a more expensive option compared to kickstart but it’s dope to have both options available!!
