The mixed boxing story for the heavyweight championship in 2051 was always planned to be the conclusion of our alternate universe... but that doesn't stop me from being inspired to do the occasional sneak peak at it as we go!

A little tribute to the wonderful work of TheKOntender...

...here's my take on 'Hard fought match between equal opponents (Part 3)'.

Meet Dynamite Alice D'Arcy...

...a girl that loves rockin whether it's as the drummer for her punkrock band or it's rockin the head of her opponents in the boxing ring. Don't let her get her rhythm or she can pound all night!

Extra: I was improvising a picture for the husband vs wife fight...

...and I realised her boobs were too big for the character... however I thought I'd share it as it is for my loyal patrons. Why deny you such assets just for continuity so I'm sharing it now. When it drops into the story, it might look different, but for now: behold! MBA

The hit surprises her in its brutality...

She's driven back into the ropes. The ferocity is unexpected and she has to think quick or her precious streak will be in jeopardy...

...but then, WHAM! The man scores with a huge punch to her jaw...

...the fight is on!

She keeps working the body...

...for a strong finish to the round, but the man puts his arm against her upper chest to get some distance between him and the combative amazon...

...she counters with a hard right hook to the man's ribs...

The man grunts as the woman's shiny leather glove embeds into his side.

...a wet thud and a deep grunt from the man rings out in the gymnasium. Is he hurt or will he keep up the offensive?

1940s Europe... the darling of the Danish fight scene is taking on a tank of a man from Germany...

...the fighters rise from their stools for Round 2 after a grueling first round where neither fighter wanted to give an inch of ground!

It's over! Evelyn is still stretched out on the canvas, drenched in sweat. Her team rush towards her to tend to her. The crowd is deafening at the sight, though altercations are breaking out in some parts of the arena because of the result. Sonny staggers to the ropes, but his eyes do not leave his fallen foe. He surveys the ...

Evelyn rolls onto her back...

...the ref starts his count. It looks like the female fighter is in dreamland...

The ropes fling her hard onto the canvas...

...bouncing her head off it with a thud.

There's such intimacy in combat. I love her but want to destroy her.

I want to test her...

...to challenge her, to be a worthy opponent, but also for her to know that I worship her and that I'm honoured to spill sweat with her. I keep my body hard to be a worthy opponent because I'd hate for her to think why do I bother with someone that can't handle the violence, the physicality. We are at odds but we are in love....

This amazonian woman....

She arrives, picks up the gloves and leads me to our ring. She smiles, but only until she steps through those ropes.

I look at the gloves hanging up on the wall. My wife's boxing gloves that have laid me down so many times.

We have fought on a Friday night every week for the last 39 weeks. The length of our marriage. Let me explain: we are both lawyers. Ambitious. We always compete. At the end of our working week we meet up in the gymnasium that our employer provides for us to let off steam.
