I had a lot of real-life events happening the past week or so, which left me a little out of sorts. Fortunately, I think things are starting to get back into shape, so I should be catching up with comic stuff now.

Page 26 also has an unusual panel (the 5th one) where I changed the base layer colors to be grayscale rather than color to give a stronger emotional reaction.

If I'm remembering right, I initially planned this page to have the first panel be more straight on, rather than a view from above. I realized I used basically the same shot just a few pages before, so I ended up changing the shot on the fly. I think it's more interesting this way.

The pages of the magic world were done pretty differently than how I normally color. The original flat colors are still in the file, but how I colored this was by making everything white and adding in some digital watercolors in masked sections. That's how everything bleeds into each other.
