This summer has been particularly hard for me creatively/mentally so i’ve been scribbling more traditionally to help push through it. My pen doodles are very messy and dont feel as presentable, but my little sketchbook means a lot to me so I might post a little walk...

My sketchbook is a sanctuary of scribbles. I usually only draw with pen and it’s usually hard to decipher, but it’s become more and more freeing to just put lines down on real paper.

First image I used a mix of CP 3D models and drawings from my sketchbook. 3D models are super useful and can help speed things up if a deadline is looming but I end up losing a lot of movement because i reference too closely, and lose focus of the original silhouette.
