The textures are blocked out roughly to help with 3D printing.
I use a Prusa i3 MK2S. It is an awesome machine, but when you're printing only 28mm tall it is really important to make the textures clear in your models.

Very pleased how this came out!
The pose really makes or breaks a character. Something dynamic like this can convey a lot about the character. For example, the intimidating pose conveys a lot of strength.

This was a tricky one for me because I typically sculpt "pretty" or "majestic" things. Snot texture is not exactly my forte haha

This is an example of why it is important to subdivide, and have multiple subtools. This sculpt is only one piece! It was made in Sculptris when I was just starting out by excessively using the grab brush. So even though the form is interesting, the roughness of it takes away from that.

This is building off of the original post where it was just a chest sculpt with no head. It definitely pays to have an understanding of the muscles!
Now to tackle the hands.
For this request I'm making Odin holding some weapons, and looking generally menacing.
He will have armor, but it essential to understand how the muscles underneath are working. Otherwise the armor will hide the body type of your character.
