Just a quickie, since there's nothing too complex about this unit. It's basically just an enclosed water heater with a thermal cutout and a pressure activated switch that activates the unit when the water is flowing. The heater has fixed power output, and temperature is controlled by water flow rate.

The Aldi "Dremel" type tool and glue gun have both been taken by airport security because they felt I could brandish the glue gun like a weapon.

The biggest surprise in this unit was the massive variation between LED currents. The older technology yellow passes over 12 times as much current as the green LED, but still looks dimmer.
This cost a mere £3 from a local store, and would make an excellent project case.
