I did some tweaking on a piece of footage from a couple of weeks ago to give it some new life. I wanted to change the feel of it. I think that it looks much more interesting now.

The learning curve can be a bit of an emotional roller coaster. I have days where I feel that I've improved so much, then the very next day not hit my target at all! The key is to stay consistent with my efforts, though. It's such a great feeling when it's a successful day of throwing!
On the easel
Blueberry BOOM! The base colors are down.
I’m borrowing a color scheme from my spring time blueberries that grow in my backyard.
The berries initially start as a bright, pale green. As the weeks go on, they change to pink, and ultimately turn shades of dark blue and purple.

Perhaps it’s the changing seasons, or a sign of aging, but it was such a strain on my eyes to paint indoors today. I took all of my stuff outside to paint. The bright sunshine helped significantly!
