Here is a nice series of photos of the Coyote Priestess costume. I took advantage of a few industrial areas over the weekend and I think that the results are perfect. As urban sprawl takes over the land coyotes adapt to their new surroundings.

My double circle skirt is finished! It was a BIG undertaking and I'm very happy with it. I'll have to keep working with it to maximize the movement and flow that it's capable of. For now, I had to take it out for a first dance!

The double circle skirt is underway! It takes a lot of time working with this much fabric! Slow going. This first half of the skirt is a complete circle itself. The second half is on my sewing machine. I’m preparing to add the gold trim.

I spent the better part of the afternoon tie-dying the circle skirt! I had some assistance from the local moths/butterflies.

The potential of dramatic movement in a circle skirt is always a plus! I just completed designing, cutting and sewing this one.

It’s hard to tell at this point, but this will be a full circle skirt! I have yards and yards of plain white cotton fabric. I also have an abundance of fabric dye. The dye gives me the ability to turn any plain cotton garment into a thing of beauty!
